Special Town Meeting – School Budget

A special Town Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 to vote on the school budget. Warrant articles are attached to this notice.
Former Charlotte School Now “Maritime Munchkins” Daycare: The Town of Charlotte has leased the former Charlotte School building to Maritime Munchkins, effective March 3, 2025. The Town will continue to use the gym periodically for town meetings. The playground and Herbie Clark field remain open to the public for use. The management of Maritime Munchkins has also agreed to continue making the gym and kitchen available to community members to rent at a fee of $50/day. Facility rental may be arranged directly with Maritime Munchkins by calling 207-271-8011. A signed waiver will be required.
